I like that students are able to choose a topic that is relevant to their lives that makes the activity meaningful to students and optimizes individual choice (UDL 7.1) I also think using Google docs is a great way to collaborate and receive feedback from other students. I think this is a great tool to use at a young age because they can continue to use this for the rest of their lives. The only difficulty I see with this is making sure all students have a gmail account and figuring out how to monitor them. Also, you might have a suggested structure, for example, Introduction, Body (with at least 3 supporting facts), and Conclusion. Great Job!
