An interactive introduction to microbial classificatioin for engineering students. Learning objectives for the interactive module include (1) understanding of the differences between bacteria, eukaryotes and viruses, (2) ability to define major microorganism groups by size and morphological characteristics, and (3) understanding the evolution of microorganisms. Multiple quizzes are included throughout the module and the overall score is reported at the end of the module.
