Media Literacy Review
The Media Literacy Review is an award-winning site. It is an ongoing research and development activity located in the Center for Advanced Technology in Education at the University of Oregon's College of Education. It is the goal of the Media Literacy On-Line Project to make available to educators, producers, students, and parents, information and resources related to the influence of media in the lives of children, youth, and adults. The site has thoughtfully organized archived articles, bibliographies, guides, lists, and other resources of value in the study of mass media, media arts, and acoustical communication. A file of conferences, events, news stories, and special announcements is frequently up-dated to keep users informed about happenings around the world.

Desk, Media Literacy Organizations, Professional Collaboration, and Events.
Section B is for Readings in Media Literacy. Section C is directed towards
Media Industry and Media Literacy Issues. Section D holds the Parents Corner
and a Special Folder for acknowledging associates, users and reviewers. The
site is clear and easy to navigate. Higher Ed. faculty could certainly use this
as a beginning resource for research, position papers, and teaching assignments
in education, teacher education and library/media education. Information is
updated regularly. The site has received no less than seven online awards.
