This Java applets is concerning the bright planets (Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn), and the Moon. It provides four views: a diagram showing rise and set times over the year, a view at local horizon, and a view of the ecliptic plane, and a sky view. Exercises for exploring planetary events are included.
