I really like the idea as a project. It would be interesting topic in relation to Avatar. My recommendation would be in relation to. The objectives. I feel as if you could specify what you expect from the students, such as students will complete one three slides that express their knowledge of Utopian environments. This helps reduce the issue of potential grey area problems.

What a great topic.  I like the way you incorporated youtube and vimeo.  Also under technology needs those are great ways to complete this assignment.  SWEET!  You sure did incorporate technology

This lesson plan is very unique. There are many technology pieces that I would not have thought of before to integrate into a lesson plan. I liked that many different technologies are used throughout the plan, and are modeled by the instructor as well to ensure learning by all. This certainly follows the UDL principles. I do have some questions that deal with instructional strategies and design. The first question or suggestion is if there is use of a detailed rubric with this assignment? I did see some requirements, such as 5 pages, 20 sources, and a visual. Students many times find rubrics helpful to guide their work and know the instructors expectations. Another question I have is what modifications would you suggest for students that may struggle with this? Would you do some pre-research for them? Would you decrease the number of pages they need to write? The final suggestion I have has to do with the instructional objectives and title of the lesson. The objectives deal with group work, and with collaboration, however, the lesson plan title is discussion of Utopia. Is the goal of the lesson to understand and discuss Utopia, or to work collaboratively?
