This site provides information in regards to technological accessibility to students with learning disabilities. The Division of Information Technology - UW-Madison introduces many tools that assist these students to access and utilize the modern technologies available, otherwise, it would be impossible or nearly impossible for them to advance their studies and to reach their goals in higher education.  Here are some samples of the tools mentioned:

            - The Kurzweil system, the digital reading solution.  It converts printed materials by scanning and saving them as electronic versions which are ready to be read to them via their computer.

            - The Screen Reader, a software that helps the visual impaired users read the web and electronic documents.

            - The Screen Magnification, a software that helps the partially visual-impaired users read what is on the computer screen.  It works like a hand held magnifier where only the portion under the magnifying box actually becomes magnified.

 This site also offers other tools and techniques as well as resources for web and technology accessibility.  It is one of the great websites currently available.
