Jim Breen's WWWJDIC Japanese-English Dictionary Server

A student who has studied Japanese for several years recommended this resource to AMSER. The site is an online Japanese-English Dictionary and it is set apart from other dictionary or translation sites because of the ability of a user to look up kanji in more than one way, including drawing them using a java applet. Other useful features include cell-phone friendly pages for Japanese to English translation, and vice versa.
