Skills & Interests

  • Education / Educational Leadership / Leadership Foundation / Collaborative Management (Advanced)
I am currently leading a FIPSE innovation grant supporting a regional, collaborative effort to improve student success across the K-20 pipeline. We are creating regional, cross-sector, professional learning communities to support high-impact teaching strategies, and utilize action research to assess instructional change. My previous experience includes executive and program leadership of a K-8 summer learning program designed to mitigate summer learning loss among low-income children. At a private liberal arts colleges, as Service Initiatives Director, I developed service-learning and community service as integral parts of the curricular and co-curricular environment, and implemented a Faculty Fellows Program to train faculty, resulting in the revision of 35 + courses across the disciplines in three years. I also co-created and co-led an International Cooperation in Service Program for Japanese and American students, and taught in a Leadership and Social Change certificate program.
